Charity Night in Aid of Action Medical Research
Come one, come all to the 1st Dark Ocean Laser Gaming Charity Fundraiser - Monday 27th April 2009 - 7pm till 10pm.
This 1st one will be in aid of my charity cycle from London - Paris in July. Subsequent ones will be for various charitable organisations.
Action is a Charity that dedicates itself to improving the health of babies and children and is a very worthy cause for anybody who has had need to take advantage of it`s charitable funding.
As with all charities, it needs all the help it can get and so I am undertaking to do the London - Paris Cycle 2009 for them to help. All participants have to raise a total of £1,200 but must get to a minimum of £600 by the 1st of May.
Though I am currently progressing nicely with the amount, I am now starting my (hopefully regular) charity fundraiser nights at Dark Ocean Laser Gaming as it is a fun way to raise money and have fun at the same time.
All the money raised from the gaming will go 100% to raising money for the charity. There will be a charity raffle on the night for anybody who is wishing to win some fun prizes.
It would be great if as many as can make it do, start time is 7pm and everybody will get at least 3 games each.
If everybody could be at Dark Ocean for 6:45pm then it will give us time to sort out who where, when, what, why and be able to start at 7pm
HOW MUCH IS EVERYTHING?
Your games will be £12 and for that you will get a minimum of 4 games. 3 games will be free-for-all games to determine latter stages ordering and then there`ll knockout stages pyramid to end up at an eventual winner who will then win a prize.
All participants will receive a Free Game Voucher.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Each of your 3 initial games will be 20 minutes long. Each of the knock out games will be between 5 and 10 minutes long.
